Nationally known graphic designer and author Justin Ahrens will visit Judson’s Department of Art and Design on Friday April 11th at 4:30 pm to talk about his design work and book Life Kerning. Ahrens is the founder and principle of Rule29, a Geneva, IL based firm whose approach to design is built on collaboration, commitment, and caring. Justin is passionate about what he terms “cause design,” in which he and his firm work with non-profits as a way to use design as a means for social good. He will be speaking as part of the School of Art, Design & Architecture’s Lecture and Exhibition series. The talk is free and open to the public and will take place in the Herrick Chapel.
